Great, laidback dive bar feel with good food, a beer garden, and clean bathrooms (including lotion). You have to try the burgers! Owners and bartenders were very nice and attentive, and patrons were kind, diverse, and inclusive. Still a good amount of energy despite initial dive bar feel. Video gaming, jukebox, and big TV make for a great night. I had such a good time and have absolutely no complaints.

I love this place. The owners and staff are friendly from the moment you walk in. The patrons are just as friendly and talk to everyone. Good bar food, good drinks, jukebox, video slots and poker. Always have a good time here! It's not fancy, but it's warm and friendly and it's my favorite hangout since moving to the western suburbs!

I have to admit when my boyfriend told me we were going to this bar I wasn't too thrilled. I had never seen this place before, and I had my heart set on venturing out into the city for some fun. I'm way too happy we made to it The Forest View lounge! The Forest View lounge has that cool laid back neighborhood bar feel to it. Everyone inside was very nice. The owners Marge & Donna really make you feel welcome, and that's why I've been back twice since my first visit! The Forest View lounge has a menu with some good bar food on it! I went extremely hungry ( I'm almost embarrassed to type everything I ate!!), and ordered quite a bit of food! Try the Oozy burger! A fat hamburger patty stuffed with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. My mouth had an orgasm. I swear. #Whore I also tried the gyro puff(This was just blah for me.), seasoned fries(Yum), some of my boyfriends chicken tenders( awesome), and a slice of pizza. Omg looking back at this I cannot believe I ate so much. #FatBitch #DontJudgeMe I really wanted to try the ass burner burger, but not really up for a hot ass on a party night! Good thing The Forest View lounge is open during the day so I'll have to try it for lunch! I totally needed a stretcher to wheel my big ass outta there.......I will definitely be back!!!

I live a couple blocks away and barely stopped by 2 weeks ago. Food was OK, but was extremely grossed out by the cat chilling on the bar!... Yuck! The dogs were OK, but keep in mind they serve food here, so having a cat jumping all over the place is just plain gross for me! I don't wanna imagine how their kitchen is like.

Love this place. Good, cheap strong drinks, super friendly people, dogs inside bar, food, nice patio, super warm vibe and slots! Mainly a lesbian bar but all seem welcome. Kind of reminds me of a Wisconsin joint.

I love the ladies here. The food is pretty decent bar food. Drinks are very reasonably priced and I must say they really make you feel at home here. Marge is extremely nice and I really like the dive bar feel to it. I love they have a jukebox and now u can gamble lol.

This is a nice local bar with all that you would expect; jukebox, pool table, and some regulars hanging out. The bonus is an outside patio, a kitchen and the owner "works" the bar. You will feel welcome. The bar celebrated 10 years and the owner totally put on a huge pig roast to give back. wow.

Had an Oozy burger here today and there is no better burger. Marge the chef makes some of the best food around. My friend had a pork chop sandwich and it was to die for. The chicken sandwich is a great one too Marge has a philosophy of have it your way. Beer is always cold and cheap.

1st time in - was a great experience, owners greeted me warmly, introduced me to others, made me feel right at home! Definitely going back... Food was great, beer cold... Good prices .. Look them up on Facebook & online - events are being planned!

Allrighty....I'm not sure you could ever tell from the outside that this is a totally neighborhood lesbian bar that looks like a bar transplanted from Eagle River WI to a suburb just outside of Chicago on the SW side just 1/2 mile north of I55. I really had no idea! Neat. If you'll read my review of the No Name Pub you'll see why me, my boyfriend, and my brother-in-law left there and walked 20 feet across the parking lot to The Forest View Lounge hoping someone there would be able to see us and serve us some beer. Upon entering we noticed it was all women... playing pool and hanging out. Good things about the Forest View Lounge: -The owner was bar-tending and kept our glasses full. -She has a pinball machine will gladly break five bucks into quarters for you and your people to play. -The Karate Kid was on the TV behind the bar and she turned the sound on for the finale. -The bathrooms were really clean! -The Forest View Lounge serves food & at 1am like us you can order fries & mozzarella sticks. -Similar jukebox to the jukebox at No Name Pub but at least no one played the whole Alice in Chains Album again. -There is a bar beagle and a bar cat - the cat was sitting on top of the video poker game. So if you're looking for an out of the way place where they'll actually notice you exist and give you a beer, make you food if you are hungry, and aren't up in your grill with a bunch of macho BS try the Forest View Lounge. ***Added bonus - when we got up to leave another patron said: "be careful if you are driving my friend just called to say there are cops everywhere!" That's just plain nice.
